Crashed it after a wind gust flipped it upside down and I lost orientation for too long. I think the fan, motor and ESC and servos are salvagable. The airframe is DOA.

Sometimes you just get something which seems to be 'cursed'. Either that or ducted fans are just not for me.

What do you think?

Are electric ducted fans just more trouble than they are worth?

I went to EAA Airventure in Oshkosh WI yesterday. Friday was the all women's airshow and warbird review. Got to see Patty Wagstaff fly her new Extra 300. Also saw the White Knight 2 take her 17th flight! Very cool.
