Work in progress.
This by far the best 2s whoop there is out there, it's power and speed and handling are amazing and the price is ridiculously cheap.
Mobula7 V2 2s whoop crazy and smooth acro garden (back yard) flight calm conditions. (3 min 7 sec)

Mobula7 V2 2s whoop windy garden flight but it handles it fine. (3 min 14 sec)

Got this for my 2s whoops mainly and very pleased with it so wanted to share it with others.
As far as I know it is the only 4 port 2s charger in this handy small size , has mains built in and can also run off a battery and has most of the facilities used by the bigger chargers for a fraction of the price.

18 December 2018 (11 min 29 sec)

Got mine here.

Good points
Chagres 2s and 1s lipos 4 at a time independently
Shows mah, per cell voltage, current for each lipo in 4 separate displays.
Runs off mains power or battery.
Can set current charge rate
Does normal and HV lipos
Charges NiMH battery too.

Bad points
Slightly bigger than a 6 port 1s charger but not much
Whoop batteries with ph2.0 with no wires cannot fit all 4 in at once unless a extention is made
Cannot set individual current charge rate independently
No storage voltage setting.

Definitely a great option both at home and for outside for charging smaller lipos and the only real option for 2s whoop really, much smaller and quieter than an equivalent full size charger.
Voltage was exactly 4.2 per cell on every battery I charged .
If you fly small micros that use 1s and in particular 2s this is a must imho.

Note only the ESC can handle 3s lipo, people have flown the beta75x on 3s but I don't recommend it.

to review and share some settings which seem to cure washout issues for me.

Just got the new version to the 75x with upgraded ESC and FC because I'm defo not getting any yaw washout.
No tuning done my my part apart from rates.
ESC is rated to 3s and 10a now which could be very interesting.
This now a mcuh closer contest between the mobula7 and this, the 200mw vtx and f4 processor ,1103 smoother motors are a big plus, camera still struggles in dark areas though....

New version Beta75x yaw flips inverted yaw spin loops/rolls NO YAW WASHOUT! (3 min 13 sec)

New upgraded version beta75x garden ( back yard )acro flight NO YAW WASHOUT. (3 min 34 sec)

I got the emax tinyhawk from xt-xinte ( great service and cheaper than banggood and they have the mobula7 in stock btw!! )
Tinyhawk $98
$10 off coupon for the tinyhawk
$5 credit to your account if you send them a message telling them nigelsheffield123 sent you , or use this coupon

I will be comparing it to the other brushless whoops I have Inc mobula7, beta65x, beta75 pro, boldclash b06 pro and some of my DIY silverware brushless build too.
Specs on this are listed on the site and I won't go into great detail here but rather give my impression of it and information that you won't find by just looking at the sales specs.
So I don't waste too much of your time I will say that mobula7 is faster and more powerful and runs on 1s lipo or 2s so indoors and outdoors is the better option with huge punch outs and big loops etc possible, if that is what you want to look at my review on that.
However this frame is probably stronger and looks nicer with a carry case and is more stable so better for a new flyer or someone who just crashes a lot racing indoors and I definitely enjoyed flying it both in my house and garden, it handles a little better generally than the mobula7 too.

Good/bad points.

Flight times are about 3 to 3:30 minutes on 450mah ( mobula7 does 5 on same battery )
Camera field of view is slightly...Continue Reading

Happymodel mobula7 75mm crazybee 2s whoop

Cheaper from xinte and mention my name nigelsheffield123 or use this coupon for $5 credit

2s whoops are great as I get found out with previous builds but always built my own requiring time and skill and effort.
Now this makes it easy and cheaper than building my own!

If anyone wants to help me out without it costing you a penny please use my referral code TY1117244425201308OD for anything you buy on banggood and it will help me fund future reviews thanks.
Mobula7 from happymodel bench review. (9 min 43 sec)

Indoor flight on 1s lipo very fast still
Mobula7 1s acro indoors using 250mah for over 3 minutes flying. (3 min 2 sec)

Build log for 2s silverware brushless whoop, is a very cheap build and it rocks!

2s brushless silverwhoop first flight loose tune but lots of power!! (3 min 19 sec)

I've already made some brushless silverware quads and some whoops but up till now never a silverware brushless whoop and having recently discovered 2s brushless whoops and the recent betafpv beta65x I decided it's time to build a silverware version a little bigger on the beta75x frame.

Parts used
Betafpv lite FC ( flashed with yets brushless silverware version )
Frame and props betafpv beta75x.
1103 10000kv racerstar motors. ( tracking affiliate link as motors were provided for review , no extra cost to you but they will let me have more stuff for review if people use this link )
ESC bs06d super s ( mention nigelsheffield123 for $5 credit )
Any 5v bec / ubec regulator ( got mine from AliExpress for about $1 )
Camera I will be using akk bs2 depending if I can find a spare one but anything will do as long as it's small and light is best.

To program the FC you will need an st-linker V2 and a free program ( I will provide a bin file once it's all setup nicely or those who don't want to go through setting up in Kiel )

Soldered wires to ESC and hot glue in place to stop them breaking easily,
Connected ESC to a...Continue Reading

This is yet another offering for a cheap FC with silverware on it,
This one has reciever built in as usual but what sets it apart from others before it is the fets for the motors are updated with higher current draw and lower resistance which in theory should give more power..
In my test flights I certainly did notice a bit more power so the fets do seem to be making a difference.
The price is good too at $6.52.

Get it here from
Use this name ( mention it somewhere I guess ? ) nigelsheffield123 to get $5 credit and they also promise to send me gifts for review if people do that.
Check out the xt-xinte sight for lots of other good deals for drones.

First up I will put a flight video made with a boldclash b03 whoop with this FC in, this is flown in acro mode with an akk bs2 camera stuck on with elastic bands lol.

Silverised Brushed franken whoop is crazy fast....again!! (4 min 9 sec)

Very careful flying with a small quiet ducted fan quad ( whoop)
To get the puppy Charlie junior used them.
His dad Charly senior ( yes I know lol ) is an old hand and doesn't bat an eyelid , he just goes off and finds a quiet spot till I finish lol.

Puppy meets whoop (Charlie junior first encounter) his dad Charly is an old hand. (1 min 9 sec)

I don't encourage anyone to do this, I can fly very well and only use whoops for indoors around pets and only fly if it doesn't bother them.
Be safe and respect them!

Cocker spaniels make great family pets by the way, love mine more than flying and that IS saying something lol!

Whoop with vtx control and osd with frsky Rx built in on one board from betafpv WOW that's a lot to cram in and I just had to try one out.

Here is my review and a video of it flying my b03 whoop with bs2 osd camera.

18 June 2018 (3 min 38 sec)

Some pictures of the build to give an idea of how easy this is, basically the motors just plug in as does the battery so very simple to get it flying.
For osd I needed to solder cam and vtx wires, my bs2 didn't have vtx control so I couldn't test that but it's got the connection there so just another solder pad to connect that wire.
It's on betaflight 3.2 and all I did was set my preferred channel order and rates and few tweaks on the osd.
Bound to my frsky taranis in D8 mode easily with a nice big button that's easy to press.
Everything worked first time and the b03 flew great on stock settings , no need to change pids or filters.

Ok I already have 3x 75mm brushless whoops but decided I wanted a smaller one for easier indoors flying more like the original whoop size and this seemed to fit the bill.
It's from hobbycool affiliate link to their site please use this link if you find any of my reviews useful as I get a small commission and no extra cost to yourselves. They do a lots of good RC and quad drone related stuff and are reasonably cheap and I've always had too service from them.
First a video to show how well it fly's , this was only one of my first flights with it and immediately I found it well tuned and easy to fly indoors( it even flies nicely outside in a little wind )

Hb64 first acro flight indoors flips 64mm brushless whoop from hobbycool (3 min 13 sec)

The quality of this model is really nice, it's quiet , powerful ( for a 1s ) , responsive and has taken multiple crashes in its stride with no damage.
It has betaflight 3.2 loaded and d shot commands so TURTLE MODE and motor beeps is available and works great.

No reciever but that means you can choose your own and I put in a frsky xm+ which I walk bought from hobbycool and was cheapest I've found it anywhere else.
This gives FULL range and is better than other quads with built in recievers.
There is plenty of room in the canopy for the reciever and I routed the antenna out through the slots in the side of canopy.

A 260mah HV 30c to 60c is supplied and gives 3 minutes flight times...Continue Reading

In my pursuit for cheap but good to goggles I am trying out these SJ-RG01 bought from hobbycool.
Arrived to UK n under a week in and in good condition.
$89 US stock
Main reason I wanted to try these is that they record video footage and they are reasonably small and light for not much money $79 .

Also very tempting is they have diversity And IPD adjustment.

Internal battery and a socket to plug in fatsharks battery or a supply such as a 12v supply I use for my taranis is useful.

Usb socket for uploading to pc / tablet without needing to remove micro SD card is also a nice feature.

Audio /video in and out is there too.

All the usual bands are there and are selectable either directly using channel/frequency buttons or with auto channel search.

As you can see it's a fully featured set of fpv goggles.

The one thing I was concerned about was the screen resolution, it is described as 960 by 240 and so only half the lines compared with other goggles which have 480 lines. Whilst this was definitely noticeable I found that I was still quite happy with the picture and could still fly my quads ok and I will use these when I want to record video and maybe as a second set to share the experience with others.

The field of view is quite big without being overpowering, similar to my attitudes V2.

They fit nicely on my face and did not feel heavy, I could see the screen IN...Continue Reading

Being obsessed with brushless whoop I just had to gomahead and order one of these.

It's an absolute bargain at just over 70 if you get the standard version with 3 batteries AND a 6 port charger.
Receiver is built in too so very small and light.
Brushless whoop is the future in my opinion.

If anyone is thinking about a whoop then THIS is the one to get I think, especially for indoors with it being same size as a normal whoop and no brushed motors to wear out.

The slightly bigger one was tempting too but I already have 3 75mm brushless whoops lol
Same price though and probably a little better outside ..

I also have another brushless whoop in the 65mm size on the way from hobbycool and will be putting a xm+ on it so full range brushless whooping in tiny format!

Well couldn't resist getting these for $55 but $21 post on top , still a bargain and there are lots of bargain quads on there sale too, I would have got another quad or two but I have enough already and a few still to build...

No affiliate link or anything, just linking for the good of others!
Let me know if anyone finds more deals there.
I like a bargain lol!

I wanted a spare set of goggles pref with DVR , these don't have DVR but do have av out so hopefully I can plug in my small DVR to record.

Will update when they arrive.

As some of you might know I've been flying brushless whoops a lot lately and have tried standard boldclash b06 first which was ok but needed more power and osd and d shot, on my recommendation boldclash made the changes and upped the motor kv from 15000kv to 20000kv and changed FC to d shot and osd along with buzzer and LEDs control.
I built one from their parts and it flew much better and I was very happy, then betafpv came out with a similarl one but still used 15000kv but with 4 bladed props to make up the power, again with d shot and osd.
So which is best I hear you ask?
Well here are some videos both inside and outside flying similar course and style to help decide purely from performance point of view , at the bottom of the videos I will give my thoughts.
I warn you it is very close and you will need to look hard to notice the difference but there are some important differences and depending on where you are flying will be relevent to your decision ..
