Lot of water under the proverbial bridge since I last communicated with the RCG community, but now that the smoke, fire, fog, etc. has cleared, back to RC modeling! Question #1- picked up the 1700 FMS P-47 awhile back, and everything is wonderful EXCEPT for the small "circlips" that are supposed to hold the wheels on the axles. The little ?!#$%&!?'s keep coming off... and we're not talking about particularly hard or "twisted" landings, either. The airplane has a total of 15 flights so far, and one or the other wheel has popped off 6 times (two on one, the rest on the other axle). Maybe I picked up axles not reamed deep enough, or bad circlips. Anyhow, if anyone out there has had similar issues with this landing gear- and fixes/suggestions- please give a holler. Many thanks in advance!
