Two months after the indoor maiden, I finally had the chance to give the 500esp a proper outdoor maiden; also maidened a friend's protos.

We had good luck with the helitach iphone app; the 500esp was turning about 2500 rpm governed at 85%, while the protos was turning about 2300 rpm.

just clicked buy on a couple of turnigy 6s 40c 2650s for my 500esp. also picked up a tx lipo while i was at it.

hypothetically, said lipos would work nicely in a 12s 600esp rig with a scorpion 4025-630 and castle creations phoenix ice hv 80.
