After having mcx brick problems (%^&&$%$^% ebay LOL), I finally got a working MCX FPV style. Stock weight of a MCX is 28g, I'm at 30.08 w/lipos.

The Tx and Rx setup came from Raidentech, a wireless setup with crappy board camera, but easily stripped. Patch Antenna came from HGHobbies.

The camera is 300mg w/ 320x240 resolution. I'm using a fullriver 60ma lipo for vid tx and a eflite 120ma for the mcx. Flight times are 6 minutes or so.

For the maiden flights I'm using a 7"dvd player for a monitor along with a $1.99 4way splitter/amplifier hooked to a Sandisk recorder.

As of 4/19/10 I have modded a total of 3 sets, from simple to wireless or cabled. Great tutorials available and still more modding happening. My best range wireless with Flytrons Tx is over 1/4 mile. We're talking a 3gram Tx on 2.4.

Now have fully wireless Flight Simulator in house with Trimersions

If by chance you might be looking for these goggles and do not want to perform the work, send me a PM, we'll talk about it.
