I've been working on this Junkers Ju288 off and on, mostly off because of other projects.

Got a milestone today, 3D shape and base texturing now flying in FlightGear with rudimentary flight surface and propeller animation working.

It was intended to fill in as a bomber-cum-interceptor, but continued development on the needed Jumo 222 water cooled radial/inline, 24 cylinder engine took a back seat to Junkers wartime production. When the Allies bombed Junkers development facility in 1944, prototype production stopped on the 288.

Thought I'd fire up the new B-17 for FlightGear and give it a try.
