So i was at the local hobby store and seen this carl goldberg products piper cub ARF for sell for 130 bucks which i couldnt help myself and bought it. the plane haves a wingspan of 76 1/2 in. and to this date is the biggest plane i have owned. so far i have the alierons put on and figured id wait to do the rest when i move to kentucky here in a few days to give myself something to do until the wife gets there. here are some pics

so yesterday was working on the cub and came across an issue with the throttle linkage after installing the engine... there is no possible way to hook up the linkage cause the gas tank is in the way which is not a good thing ill up load some pics to show you what im dealing with...any ideas you might have would help cause im lost on this part

latest update on the cub. its pretty much done now all there is left to do is get some extensions for the wires in the wing, size a prop, balance and we r good to are some more pics

quick update i uploaded 3 new pics of the finished bird with a prop that was to small(it did not look right). i have on it now a 13x6 or 6.5 and looks more to scale. im currently waiting for my gopro camera to arrive in the mail within the next couple days. goin to mount it inside the canopy area. also waiting on a new antenna for my radio the wire broke on me. sorry if i misspelled anything muscle relaxers do intersting things. was in a car wreck on tuesday. but not letting it slow...Continue Reading

heres my newest plane i just bought has a cheap fm radio soon to b my dx6i and a .70 os 4 stroke surpass engine. the engine was being a pain to start but finally started after an hr or so. been 2 yrs or so since it was started. i also flew it today in 20 or 30 mph wind gusts if not more. it was intersting but here are some pics

yesterday i bought a on board glo system to help keep the engine running smoother when at lower rpms or idle...this thing took me a while to install cause i had to do some mods to the top of the fuselage for the wires but overall it turned out pretty...Continue Reading

well plane is done except for the balance and covering the wing tips after weight is added but other than that she's ready. It haves a .40 O.S. engine pulled by a 10x6 prop. 6 oz. tank and 5 JR sport standards servos. the radio is a DX6I(i think). i still want to put some designs on the bottom wing so i know which side is up

update with this plane before i deployed to afghanistan last year i was flying and miss judged how close i was to the ground and bounced it off the hill while landing..oops. i broke the front of the fueslage right in front of the wing not to bad on damage. unfortantly i didnt take any pics before i fixed it. also i completely tore down my other 4 stroke .70 and cleaned it and now im deciding to put it on this plane should be intersting to fly that is if it aint to heavy. ill upload some pics of the mounting and tweakin

Thought i might let anyone know that haves the blade 400. The esc haves that soft cut out feature built in, its nice to learn with but if u want more flight time i suggest gettin a new esc that doesnt cut out on ya near 9vs. I just smacked mine in after 1 min of flyin the heli. . So im all ears on any ESC;s they make that doesnt cut out on ya. Ill post some pics on here when i get a chance too, the before look and the aftermath of crashin
