I have started a windburner this one is going to be a light lay up. Tonight I have painted my mould a fluorescent pink.IM going to do a carbon fibre fuselage to go with this wing. The Finished windburner should be around 750g.which will be an ideal weight for very light days.
I have also taken a plug out of my mould.over the next few weeks I will be working on this plug to take another mould of it.I have never been happy with the old wing mould simply because they are minor imperfections in it. So this way I can take out these imperfections and have a new mould the same shape as the old one. I was going to get a CNC Mould done but it will be impossible to reproduce the aerofoil that is in my old mould, especially now that holds the Out right world record for a flying wing, plank.I am also doing a new mould for the fuselage as well.
