I started the Radio Contolled hobby in the late 1980's and it's been great. Racing 2wd buggies on a home made backyard track with friends and neighbors, learning enough just to be dangerous. Things slowed down for a few years people moved just life in general but me being a die-hard rc hobbyist have continued. Still have a collection of 2wd and 4wd buggies and trucks which i use on a regular basis. I did get in on Rc planes for a short time got out after a few years Just the hole thing of waitng for good weather on a day off packing everything up go to fly feild unpack not that many days seamed to line up. And now into the world of Quads and Helicopter which is hole different learing curve and still need lots of practice, but i can fly in the backyard no more waiting for things to line up, hour or two in the evening much easier to get some flight time. Just having fun and enjoying the hobby weather in the air or on the ground, can't take it all with you have some fun and enjoy life..
