Greetings and thanks for stopping by another work in progress. Below you'll find some pictures along with a walkaround, and maiden flight video of my 52"Zagnutz scratch built wing as another entry here in my blog at I tend to always question the build before maiden flight's, and over analyze my choices, but i guess that's what makes throwing it up in the air for the first time so exciting!

This was my first flying wing project made from $Tree foam and Coroplast, with leftover power parts from previous build's. It's a little heavier than I would have liked (AUW 608g / 21ounces), but I didn't have to add any additional dead weight to get my CoG correct which is always a good thing. I'm hoping the power set up and airfoil shape will keep it floating around nicely for a little while. I have to do a few more glide test's after some recent modifications, and hopefully the weather here will be good for the weekend.

Maiden flight to follow...

52"Zagnutz walkaround (5 min 34 sec)

I had a successful maiden flight of my 52" Zagnutz wing made from $Tree foam board over the weekend. I'll have to organize the on board electronics bay a little better, but other than that it seems to float around better than I expected. I might consider cutting it down to 48" at some point for a little more speed and improved aerobatics, but for now its a real nice flyer.

Here you'll find some photo's with captions along with a maiden flight video of the Superslo28. There's nothing here thats new or out of the ordinary, just a look at some of what i did. I also posted a video of a fun day flying a few packs in the wind at the ballfield.

Thanks again to Robert Viskil at for a fantastic blog on the Superslo28, I must have looked at those pages hundred's of times. And thanks to Jim Reith at for his continued support. Please feel free to leave a comment and thanks for stopping by to check out my blog.

This will be a work in progress starting with some photo's of the build that include some captions that are all self explanatory. I have been away from the hobby for some time and wish to rejoin with this particular flat foam airplane that comes so highly recomended. Many thanks go out to Jim Reith at RA Cores for a top notch kit and for all of his help. A shoutout goesout to Leadfeather as well for his great design, and to all of the people and informative posts found here at RCgroups.

Thanks again,
