During the pandemic, as many did, I had lots more free time than usual. I thought I would finally panel-mount the XT90 connectors on some of my larger craft to clean up the wiring and make it easier to disconnect batteries.
These small PCBs allow an XT90 connector to be securely panel mounted to help wiring management. The PCB has two M3 clearance-sized holes to screw onto a mounting panel, and the XT90 connector is soldered onto the PCB. They were originally designed to be used for battery connections on drones to keep wires away from propellers, but they could be used for anything. Wires are still soldered directly to XT90 connector when mounted to the PCB which allows for full connector performance.
