17mm is where I lined up the center of the servo arm. I am using Tomas Liu servo frame / linkage and it needs a little more room that what the build plans call for. -

My hole ended up being larger that the build plans call for due to a taller aileron horn I am using. -

Servos glued in. The Tomas Liu servo frames and linkage are ULTRA tight. Absolutely zero slop and very straight forward to setup.
