The changes they made
Starting with the new ecu......
- GSU connects via a servo cable, no longer the large dateline cable used on all the dinosaur systems.
- Smaller, lighter, much more processing power.
- Due to more processing power, lower idle RPM, faster accel/decel is capable due to higher RPM accuracy.
- Single cable from ECU to engine (seperate valve and pump cables).
- More adjustable parameters including preset accel/decel curves all custom to every engine built for maximum performance.
Now the engine........
- Starting with a brand new Billet CNC compressor adding more power and efficiency. Thrust=3.8kg! With a weight penalty of <5grams.
- Single cable braided into a special connector used for the new ECU.
- Redesigned combustion chamber, exhaust/thrust nozzle, center cone, stronger welds.
- Micro JST added to starter motor wires from factory to aid in removing and installing fod screen.
