This weekend teased us a little. A 10 mph wind in the NE bowl, which gave us decent sloping. It just kept shifting from the NE to the East, which gave us fits at times. Overall though a good day, with a decent crowd and no crashes.

Sorry for the lack of “blogage”. I just returned from vacation and missed a couple of weekends. This last Saturday was a slight improvement. We had a light wind on the SE bowl. More thermal lift then wind lift. It was strong enough at times, for several of the guys to speck out over the hill. All in all, pretty decent, for what is still summer “doldrum” weather. I’m hoping for better conditions this upcoming weekend with two cold fronts supposed to arrive later this week.

Flying was pretty good, much better than what we had in the past month. We had some slope machines up, Jart, Gulp, and Shrikes. Only a minor mid-air and one crash to mar a relaxing Saturday.
