This is not a review of how bright V10 paint is from
glowinc.com , however what type of foam we can put their paint on. I could only test a few planes, but this should give you an idea of what to expect.
Once I opened the V10 paint, it smelled much like nail polish. The little applicator brush it comes with is much like it too. I've already read 3rd party reviews on "who is the brightest" and it is glowinc. So in knowing this, I wanted to experiment with possible night flying and the brightest paint around. A second review will take care of how well you really could fly at night with paint, paint with UV LED's and a mix but first, let's see what we can damage.
First I assume this will damage any foam that normal CA would. I was right.
Take a look at the images. We find out that this paint would ruin standard foam (Eflite Jenny, Castle Creations Kestral etc). However we also find out that the standard covering that GWS uses on it's SlowStick and Pico Tiger Moth results in no damage and the paint works great on. Also, anything that is EPP foam is safe as well.
At this point, unless it's that tough covering GWS uses or EPP - I wouldn't jump on it. But if you do want to test it without buying it, get some CA and put it on a scrap piece of foam first, because these results are the same for CA so far.
