Well, today is the wifes birthday (kmopar69). Have a great birthday sweety, I love you!

We got a full price offer on our house. So, under contract, closing should be the 7th! Thats a good thing. Two mortgages were killing us slowly. House in Alabama is ours, Ive moved a bunch of stuff in there already and dang its nice, and MUCH cheaper than what we have in TN.

My dad is recovering from his heart surgury. He's a bit grumpy, but if I was 67 years old and had my chest cut open I would be too. Plus, he hasnt had a cigarette in nearly 2 weeks. I will finally get to go home tomorrow evening (Saturday) and see him. 12 hour drive, but its all good. I finished dads Tower Trainer 40 (electric conversion) yesterday. Just gotta mount the motor/ESC once they arrive in the mail (I hope today).

Im the head coach for Minor League Baseball, and tonight is our team party, then Sat. morning is our last game. Not a great record at all this year, but the boys had a lot of fun and hopefully they all learned something.

Im on my way to Fort Campbell in a few minutes to "final out". I will officially be cleared in an hour or two and I sign out on leave in the morning for 30 days to finish selling the house and moving to Alabama.

Life aint all bad. Certainly could be worse. Ya'll have a great day.

Well, so far in the last two weeks, I have bought a new house in Alabama, put my house in TN up for sale (not sold yet), moved on trailer load into the new house/shop, flew two flights (both evaluations), cleared all agencies at Ft Campbell, cleaned, power washed and stained my cedar house and 2 car garage, coached 4 baseball games, held one practice, and who knows what else.

Then, just a week ago, I get a call in the morning that my dad is in an abulance on the way to the hospital with chest pains. To make a long story short, after arriving at the Lincoln, NE Heart Institute, he had a massive heart attack. They revived him with CPR and the paddle thingies. Less than 8 hours later, he was on the operating table for tripple bypass that turned out to be PENTUPLE bypass surgury (yeah, 5 bypasses). Hes doing well now, and is back at home.

I am much like my dad. I cant sit still long. He loves to work, build things, shoot guns and screw off. So, since he cant do much for a few weeks, I picked up a Tower Trainer yesterday. Gonna build it this week and take it back to him in Nebraska on the 11th.

Anyone have a good .46 to .50 size outrunner laying around that will kick some butt on 4S 5000s? If so, shoot me a PM and we'll work out a deal.

Back to work....
