I started my FSK Zero build this past weekend. Got it from ebay for an amazing $30 bucks!!

The kit is still the old version and the amount of work involved is a bit overwhelming for someone
who never built something like this. The firewall is gonna be a bit challenging to get into position
the correct way and the suggested battery compartment sucks so I'll probably build a proper battery tray.

I started off with the cockpit area and spent a good 4 hours trimming, cutting and filing. This plane really
doesn't help in this department. I'm in no rush to finish it so I'll take my time hoping I won't mess up.

Heres some pics of the work in progress.

The club I fly in moved their location recently and did an opening BBQ. The weather was nice and hot and the burgers where pretty tasty.

Did some flying on my resurrected FMS Petie 2nd after an incident with a tree last year.

This planes looks awesome out of the box but I wanted to add some details to make it even more interesting. One of my main dislikes was the black exhaust color so after a trip to the LHS I used some tamya paints to liven it up.
XF-3 flat yellow for the border and TS42 Light Gun Metal for the exhaust. The colors where a perfect match. For the control horns and antenna I used XF-58 Olive Green and it was a pretty good match.

For the weathering I used Tamya Weathering Master B Set Item No:87080. The brush is too small on this set so I just used a big paintbrush. For the silver chips I used a regular craft store silver marker and my finger.

It looks nice and dirty now. Hope you enjoy it.
