Just finished up building and flying my new Solius. The build was fun and of typical MPX quality. This is one of their new airframes and seems always improving things. This is an original 1990 first run Great Planes Spirit 2M kit that I finished last week. It took me 4 months to build as the 2 piece, spoiler wing version. 31 ounces RTF, which is on the light side of her configuration. Maiden flight was over 5 minutes off a cheap upstart. Such a great, classic 2M RES woodie!

Along with some more recent purchases for myself was a new Futaba 8FG. I've only ever boughten three "new" radios. First was an Attack 4 channel AM with micro servos in 1985. Second was a T6XA PCM 6 channel computer in 1997. Now third is the awesome 2.4 8FG. It's certainly a radio I can grow in the hobby with. Fly Futaba!

The other purchase was a well used Taboo DLG. I got a good deal and it flys great. DLG is lots of fun. It takes decent skill to launch and ride the lifting air.
