Rainbow2 Flying Wing (8 min 23 sec)

Wow , sent a long time ago by , and did I fly it before ?
I could not find it on my Transmitter , so I did a re-bind and possibly a re-maiden !

A) Needs more power on launch ( under powered ) , that 5030x3 prop only pulls 5A full throttle .. So might need more prop .
B) What glue did I use , those harsh landings were loosening the main front carbon spars ( re-glued now )
C) 50% rates and 70% Expo
D) CG was around 170mm from the nose for that flight .. R2 was hunting both up and down , so I would call the CG too far back .
E) Flies slow and easy , might make for an excellent first wing as long as you keep the CG sensible .
F) For your maiden , make sure you run some up elevator , just a little . But nothing can compensate for a lack of power .
G) When you cut power , glides like a champ . ( Might work well on a slope )

I like it . Still needs some tuning for CG etc , but shows a really nice slow capability . I will have to pick another prop that loads up the motor a little more and gives better thrust . Once your flying you can back off the throttle , but at launch you want some power/thrust .

Since i like to shoot some video's of my models from time to time, but i don't want to constantly create new forum threads or post different video's of the same models in mostly the same forum threads, i thought it would be a nice idea to start a new blog thingy just for the various personal random rc hobby video's...

To kick start this thread a video i created almost a year ago, showing two of my favorite grab and go planes...
One is a modified version of a delta wing called Impressivo, the other one a scratch build plane with a Jetbrett wing and tailsection inspired by a Sig Wonder called Villain:

Had to make a Walmart run yesterday and as I was leaving the house I notice an unusual amount of people at the park working out. This was all taking place at the time of a supposed lockdown by the city of Dallas. Please, everyone be safe, and play our part in controlling and containing the spread of the virus... practice safety for everyones health.

This is my E-flite UMX Ultrix BNF Basic Maiden Flight Review On Windy Day video.

E-flite UMX Ultrix BNF Basic Maiden Flight Review On Windy Day (4 min 13 sec)

Here are my Review Notes for this E-flite UM Ultrix:

- Great speed
- Fun 3D Style tricks & Highly Alpha/Harriers, etc.
- A fair price for twin motors
- 1S Brushless motors
- Long flight times
- The foam is thicker and more robust than other UMX Plane foam
- Has a skid for protection when landing on pavement or grass
- You can add lights
- It comes in a small box, perfect to slide in your car on the days you fly big jets like the E-flite Su-30.

- It is really small, but I could still see its orientation well overall
- No wheels
