Forgot to post this one from months ago. I converted a Freewing 80mm F-86 to a Navy FJ3 Fury by leveling the horizontal stabs, extending the the front canopy glass, scratch building new 20mm cannon panels to replace the the six 50s, and adding a resin pilot painted in 50s uniform colors. Markings by Callie Graphics.

Looking forward to flying this one.

1/16 scale R/C Army truck that I haul out with my bombers on occasion. The 55 gal. drums, and the tarp covered cargo that hides the batteries, are all scratch built. It has power to all six wheels.

Here is a Focke Wulf I acquired in a trade. It was repainted, with Callie Graphics markings. The pilot is FMS, repainted to look more like a German fighter pilot. It also has Dave Brown wheels, aluminum cannons, and hand painted spinner. I also added padding around the instrument panel.

Here is the 1200mm Spit from MotionRC. I didn't do a lot to it, except the wheels, fuselage markings, cannon muzzles, and better looking pilot.

Well, I guess I am starting to collect bombers. Here is a Flightline B-24, and a modified Dynam B-26. The Marauder makes a nice plane, once you have messed with it for many hours! Nice looking airframe, although I think I am done with the corner cutting quality of Dynam planes.

This one is nearly finished. Just needs a bit of touchup. It is a repaint. Why does RC Lander think that US Navy jets were/are/should be pea green??

This is a repaint to depict a 35th Pursuit squadron P-40c, circa 1940. It also has a Mr. RC Sound 4.1 system, with a TT-25 and bass transducer.

This is the C-47 that carried Lt Dick Winters' platoon to the D-Day drop. It is a total repaint, with mods from Parkflyer Plastics, and cowls from the HK 1875mm B-17.

The paratroopers are 1/18 scale Elite Force 101st Airborne.

Here are some additions to the hangar, although the Hellcat is no more. RIP.

The B-17 is the Sonic Modell 1875mm, and the P-51 and Hellcat are FMS 1400mm planes.

Here is a Dynam Bf-109, modified with an FMS cockpit, moved back to the correct position on the fuselage.

It also has an FMS tailwheel, and the LG struts were moved forward, and angled out, for a more scale look and stance. It also has a complete repaint.

Wheels are Dave Brown.

I have had this plane for a while, but didn't have a photo of it, so here it is. It is the best flying plane I have, and it has a Mr RC Sound V4 unit installed, with the WWII chip, which includes the authentic Sakae engine sound.

This was a total repaint of the plane, along with mods on the rear guns and LG. The markings are from the USS Lexington, VB-16, 1943.

Here are a few of my planes. I fly warbirds pretty much exclusively, except for helis. Most of them I repaint, because I just can't seem to leave them alone....Continue Reading
