I just received this sweet looking 70mm F-86 EDF from Venom Group today via Fedex. And since I am off work today, I could think of no better thing to do but tear right into it. What makes this F-86 exciting is that it includes pneumatic retracts, flaps, and functional speed brakes. It is available in three different color schemes and I jumped at the chance to do the less often modeled Desert Rats scheme. I spent a few evenings assembling one of the Hacker EPP Profile War Birds. For the power system, I am using the very reasonably priced Super Tigre brushless 400 series outrunner and their 20 amp speed controller. With an AUW of 11.4 ounces and the Super Tigre power system showing 125 watts at WOT, watts per pound comes in at 175.
