The Aspera is not only a quick high speed plane but also flys well in high wind for AP on very windy days. Some pics from todays flights .

Ive been flying for two years now and started 3D last year twards winter. Something thats made 3D a lot easier is good flying planes and my first was the yak 54 by 3DHobbyShop.com and ive owned a few more after it and they all have been good flyers and well designed.. looking forward to the new Velox Revolution thats coming out to and eventually getting one of there 55'' 3D planes as well. Im not far from the ''windy city'' and theres a lot of talk in the forums about not flying etc because of the wind, ive had to get use to trees bending and in bad conditions the planes blowing around before take off . Im fairly use to wind now and its much easier to fly in with the mid sized electrics i own now, especially the aspera.. cuts through high wind like a hot knife through butter and its fast to .

Ive had my aspera a couple weeks now and finally had time to maiden it this weekend.. i even got to fly two days in a row .. (very rare). Heres some pics and video.. the video has onboard and camcorder footage. The aspera really helps build faster reflexes.. I flew the extra 300 shp later and it was so relaxing to play around low with it after flying 80+mph around the field with the aspera(good ''cross training'' for 3D for me)
