The only way to hold my kids' interest while I fly is to dive-bomb them...

Seagrape Slope Flying: Close-Up Ripoff Fun (1 min 39 sec)

This plane has slowly become my favorite. It's a bit more nimble than the FreebazeNT but requires more wind. Recently I removed the nose weight that had the CG near "beginner" from the flying wing calculator, and now it's just forward of the "all-around" setting. Also increased the elevator throws to 10mm from 7mm so that it could hold inverted flight better. As ailerons, throws are at 25mm.

Here's a quick compilation of the great Freebaze_NT at the beach this weekend:

Beach Bungee Launches: Freebaze NT Glider Wing (0 min 57 sec)

The last launch destroyed my right winglet (made of Dollar Tree foam) but the craft continued on and I was able to control it and land safely. My new winglets will be much lower profile to better withstand the stresses of the bungee launch.
