As I was doing battery search for this lit' beauty and parts are getting rare.....I thought, wait a minute, I have 5 new 600 mAh's!!!
So I did the mod and she loves it. Back in the air.....I've always dug this body....I'm thinking of putting this body on my XK-K110.

The long awaited project....man I've had this MIA Md500 kit for almost a year now and finally had some time to do it. Everything went together well. I have the body and windshield just taped together for final adjustments and battery testing...
Looks like my 600mah are not powerful enough...might have to try 800's or 1000's to play it safe. I've forgotten how much I love that prop cutting the air sound. But all in all, she looks beautiful in her new digs....Continue Reading

Great day flying these two. Able to spend more time flying the k123 with 5 extra batteries besides the two that come it which leaves the inside canopy a hotbox. But the 5 new and bigger batteries leave it it not so hot at all, go figure!!!
One smooth flying bird.

Happy 2017....Kicking the the new off with spending some time with two old friends. Cause with these two....I'm learning CP (Control Pitch) flying now and I love it. Logging in my time with the XK K110 and the XK 123. The XK K110 is an excellent heli to learn on. You set the TX to as docile (6G) and all the way 3D as you like. I look at it this way...when I can handle these birds (XK 110/123), I can handle the 450 and above.
But back to my 107's....I don't fly them much but, I do fly them. To show you how awesome this RCgroup is, I remember when I first started on this forum, I was blown away on how kool everyone was on helping out us newbie's. And even more blown away that some of these guys helping, flew 450 and bigger but still stop by the Syma 107g page and offered help and still flew these little birds.....that's why I always stop by now and then to read and offer if I can.
Anywho.... been wanting to do this for a while and that is blow out dust, fine fine carpet hair etc...and oil and give a little tightness on all screws. Raining out, so got a fire going and did some maintenance and flying.

In one word "WOwwwww" Just did my maiden flight and I tell ya, this little bird is sweet. My first CP so I took it easy at on 6g and low rates. I flew 5 packs of in-tail hovers, slow figure 8's. Man, loads of power. I really like this one.
