Hi, my name is Katia Landauer. I am the daughter of Timothy Landauer, an active member of this forum who passed away in 2019. I have been going through my dad's old RC boats and there are just too many-- is there anyone who can help me sell some? I'm a little lost on this site; any help would be appreciated! Please message this account if you have any suggestions, or message me on fb messenger (Katia Landauer).

It started more than 10 years ago when I got the itch to fly RC helicopter, but I have the worst eye hand coordination and perhaps starting with the co-axial blade heli wasn't such a good idea. I could fly inside my house but the moment I do it on my drive way my gardener starts to "pay" me to fly because I was trimming the hedges better than he ever could....
So I humbled myself to a simulator and finally could fly inside the monitor. Went and bought a Heli-Max 400 CP heli and only was comfortable to hover and go head out and tail in...
I told myself I better stay on land and the furthest I went was becoming an avid Fast Electric Boater. I have been doing that since 2007.
That heli sat in my closet for the next 10 years until last month I sold it because something must have fell on it and damaged the tail belt pulley.
Meanwhile since last June I have been flying/building quads, so my confidence grew with orientation and depth perception, I got the idea may be it's time to try a heli for a second time. The Blade 230S is the answer to my prayers and I enjoyed very much flying it although I have yet to truly fly in the non self leveling mode.
I got the courage to buy an used Blade 450X and I could actually fly it.
My next project is to fix up my other donation Blade450X so I can install the heli into a Hughes 500E scale body....
