This is the best micro heli I've owned. It's a great introduction to CP helicopters. I hope you have as much fun with your nCPx as I've had with mine.

Mine is stock except for changing to the blue canopy.

IMHO - The best upgrade you can make is to buy about 20 batteries and fly the heck out of the nano.

I bought 10 of the Hyperion 160's and 10 of the stock EFlites and I still like the EFlites better (first time I've prefered a stock Horizon battery). The stockers just seem to make the Nano fly better for me. I guess it's the lower weight of them that makes the difference. But the Hyperion 160's work real good too, they just seem to bog the motor a bit more for me.

Here are a couple of videos from the gym yesterday:

I'm really starting to like the Blade 130 X. At first it seemed like too much work to keep it flying but after some initial tweaks it's become problem free. I love the brushless power.

Here's a video from a few days ago at the gym.

And here's the Nano. It's quite fun also.

I just got a Parkzone UMX F-27Q Stryker 180 for Fathers Day (a little early). This is a fun plane. It made me put down my helicopters for a bit. I have the original F-27C Stryker and I'm interested to see what new tricks I can do with the 180 since it has twin rudders (which my original lacks).

This video is from the second flight of my UMX Stryker. My RC buddy and I flew a Parkzone Trojan, E-Flite Gee Bee, the UMX Stryker and a V1 Beast tonight. The weather was finally nice (70+), dry and sunny. It was a blast.

This is a video of a fellow club member flying his E-flite Apprentice. This was the first time I've seen one fly and I was impressed. The pilot has recently soloed and he's doing very good with this plane.

I've had some different places to fly lately. We went on vacation to Lincoln City, Oregon and I flew my Parkzone P-51 Gunfighter and E-flite Beast on the beach. It doesn't get much better than that.

Some videos from Saturday. I'm starting to move my mCP X skills to the 450 X. I did my first flips with the 450! I've flown the mCP X enough to be comfortable with it but the 450 X still has the pucker factor for me. The first flip was fun! After the second one though my heart was racing and that was the end of 3D stuff for that flight. I had a guy lined up to do video for the flips but the camera battery died about 10 seconds after lift off. There's a picnic at the club field today so I'll get my first 450 X flips on video then.

Some mild 3D with the mCP X.

The weather has been real poor here for several weeks but the sun finally made an appearance. I am now hopelessly hooked on helicopters.

I think the mCP X should get R/C Model of the Century status. I never get tired of flying it and I can't say that about any other model I own.

When you're ready for more the 450 X is a dream boat. It's the best 450 size helicopter I've owned.

Here are a few videos from this week:

I got impatient waiting for the new Blade 300 X and had a few extra bucks so since it was just sitting there in the LHS and looked lonely I bought the Blade 450 X too.

Wow! You're in for a treat if you're waiting for the 300 X and it's anywhere close to as good as the 450 X! I am very impressed with it (but I'm not as particular about servos and such as some are). The BeastX seems to work great!

Here's a video of a brief maiden hover and a few pitch pumps. The 450 X sounds great and is amazingly stable. It feels like a giant mCP X to me. It will be interesting to compare it with the 300 X when it is finally released.

Here are some videos of my mCP X practicing flips, rolls and loops. I'm still working on mastering the little guy. It's going to be a FUN Summer working on the 300 X and 450 X!

I decided to see what the Taxi would look like with streamers attached. It was kind of fun that way. Unfortunately I ran out of memory in the camera so some of the best parts of the flight were lost. The vertical rolls and a rolling circle with the streamers looked good but they didn't make it to the video.

One commenter says it looks like a flying jelly fish. I guess it does.

Next time I'm going to try some longer streamers. Maybe more of them. Then it will really look like a flying jelly fish!

I had a chance to practice landings and hovering tonight. The Hyper Taxi is quite fun if you're looking for something different.

Here are a couple more videos from earlier in the week. I'm having more fun with the Hyper Taxi than I thought I would. For the small gym at work it's a perfect fit for some indoor winter flying.

Here are a couple more Hyper Taxi videos. I was still pathetic at landing at this point but I'm having fun with this thing.

In this one I try to provide some helpful hints to newer Hyper Taxi pilots. I'm no 3D pilot and I'm sure others like me will buy this to have fun with some conventional indoor flight. The interesting thing about this one is the end. My battery comes loose from the fuselage and the prop hits the wires and pulls the battery completely off the Hyper Taxi. Add a little extra velcro to your batteries!

This one is just more practicing at the gym. I attempted more landings and was still pathetic at this point of my Hyper Taxi learning curve!

I'm really liking my Hyper Taxi for indoor flight. The gym at work is great for many of my helicopters but too small for planes except for something like the Vapor. And now the Hyper Taxi is a new item to add to my indoor fleet. I put 8 packs through it tonight. The maiden was a wee bit exciting but I adjusted pretty fast. I wacked the nose pretty hard so it's not looking pretty any more but it sure is fun and different. I've used more glue today than I've used in the last 2 years. But I'm also flying a lot lower and slower than I normally do. There's no such thing as three mistakes high in a gym this small.

I had no intention of buying one of these until I saw it at the Hobby Shop. I'm glad I got it for some indoor winter flying.

I have many videos of E-Flite and Parkzone airplanes and helicopters on my youTube page. I was an EDF addict but helicopters have caught my attention and I can't get enough of them now.

I spend 90% of my available flight time with the Blade mCPX lately, mainly because it's so durable and I have a park nearby that I can fly it in. I don't like to fly my bigger helicopters near people so I save them for the club field. I only get to the club field about 10 times a year so the mCPX has greatly increased the amount of time I can spend flying aerobatic helicopters.

The park is large enough for the Horizon UM planes and the UMX's that have AS3X with good slow flight capabilities.

I can't wait for the Blade 300 X to be released. The simplicity and ease of repair of the flybarless helicopters is fantastic.

See my videos here.
