Prop Test
As my flying has improved somewhat i have been going higher and trying some long dives. I have been having this problem that while in the dive the q4 seems to "break" loose and slide uncontrollably kinda like cavitation while sailing or surfing.

I was using the readymaderc e props which had to this point been working great, jello free video, cheap and seemed very responsive. I switched to the RCTimer props and the problem disappeared. I can now confidently go into a long steep dive!

flatspin with e props
Vertigo! QAV400 flatspin (1 min 22 sec)

good steep dives with RCTimer props

large image is the gopro hd and the smaller video overlay is the flight cam with the osd info. the flightcam is what you are seeing while flying, not that great.

been playing around with the ezuhf diversity and a crosshair antenna. been going out 5,000' for several flights now getting a feel for what the system can handle. got a tiny osd so i could see altitude, speed and link quality. you see the lq drop (60%) on the turnaround but come right back. on the return leg i came down lower through some trees that i have flown through many times but i was lower that i should have been and lost link. flying into the sun did not help at all as i couldnt see home.
QAV400, 1mile mark, with crash on return leg to my going to low and loosing link (3 min 16 sec)
