Been a busy year for me but I still squeezed in a new build. This model is the new T-1 models F22 Raptor. Anyone that knows me will tell you this is my all time favorite full scale aircraft. Its been a dream to have a quality scale F22. The PacificRCjets team all worked together along with T-1 models to produce a fantastic plane. You can get the plane is many different ways. From a raw unpainted aircraft to ARF or even plug and play. The one I have is a prototype and not the production version. The production version has many improvement's from mine. A few I can think of is quick connections to remove the stabs. The panel lines are much thinner and less pronounced on the production version.

Aircraft was fully painted and detailed by me. The markings are all from Tailormade decals. they are all dry transfer and came out great!

The build went great. I wont lie she is a complicated bird. Mine also was not a stock build. I put my typical spin on things like scale missiles from Strictlyscale.com and other things like making them move when the missile doors are open. Also made the pilot move along with all hidden hatch latches with a moving gun door like the full scale. Aircraft has flaps/slats/ailerons' /flying stabs/dual rudders' and dual thrust vectoring. Aircraft also has a functioning canopy and full lights including the formation lights. Working bomb and missile doors are operational and come stock. I added my own mechanism though for the missiles.

Something new I...Continue Reading

I ordered some small folding props , and one of those was the WLtoys F959 prop .
Really wanted to see if the prop could be turned around from a pusher to a tractor .

Eeeeer - Yeah !
Now , I had to ever so slightly enlarge the hole so I could press fit the prop assembly to a 2mm motor shaft . ( looks to work )
Also the other day my replacement ( new ) tachometer arrived .
Anyways ...

Racestar BR1504 + WLtoys F959 prop assembly ..

3s - 14600 rpm - 2.8A
2s - 11600 rpm - 1.8A

And just to see what the brushed WLtoys F959 does

2s - 13500 rpm - 3.4A

Well , an almost completely useless experiment ( I guess ) , but the plan is to use this motor / prop combo for something .
Maybe a Depron model ? Sub 100 gram , Aileron / elevator bird ?

Hmmm , maybe motorise the R3 - ????????

This is my Maiden Flight Review for my Freewing L-39 Albatros 80mm EDF Jet.

Freewing L-39 Albatros 80mm EDF Jet Maiden Flight Review (5 min 23 sec)

Here are my review notes:

Pros:
- It is a big EDF jet. Bigger than I anticipated.
- The flaps work great
- Really bright LED lights
- Robust landing gear suspension & nice main wheels
- It has nice big battery bay for flexibility

Cons:
- The paint overspray is a con to me, but overall the paint is well done on this plane along with everything else.

Hi everyone! I'm a new visitor to your area, so I really don't know how to go about blogging. But here goes. I have a 30" glow plug Ram Jet engine and I am looking for some information on getting an RC plane for it. Preferably, one I can build, and put the engine inside of. But I would entertain ideas of "outside of plane " mounting also. I would like a plane with a large profile so it is easier to fly by RC.
Does anybody have any information to help me find something ??

I acquired a bag of parts to a .56 Saito. As far as I can tell it needs an intake tube, backplate and gaskets. Further examination might require other items. I may power my Telemaster 40 with it if I can get it to run well.

Problem is that the intake tube is backordered nation wide .

Intake tube probably is 8mm since both openings are 8mm, head and carb outlet....Continue Reading

Great buy.
0603 motors are sooo much better than my previous brushed setup for sure.
after lots of youtube research and consulting with some local whoop racers, i decided to upgrade the motors prior to getting into batteries.
went with Happy Model 0802 19000kv. When i did the swap, i also swapped my frame and replaced the camera mount with a small 3d print bit, which left my flyer weighing around .25g LESS than stock (dry, the scale was tippin a bit)!
Flight time was also increased, due to less amp draw of the 0802's...!

For props im using eachine 010 stock props reamed out to 1mm.

Ive come across the notion that using a solid pin jst connector will also help reduce inefficiency, i placed an order to try out some OG solid pins aswell, altho so far that mod has not been performed.

Batteries so far: on hand i have some tattu 220's, some eachine 250's, some racedayquads 250's and now some GNB 300's (got the 300s after the motor swap). the eachine 250s perform better than my racedayquad 250s, and the 300's give me about 30sec more than the stock eachine 250's. Next im gonna try the GNB 260's...

Thanks for taking a peek here. If you like, my YouTube channel (Mike's RC Corner) is full of these videos and love to have you along for the ride!

I got this 1/24 Scale truck in for review and I'm very impressed. It's an RC for anyone to use, from beginner to those who like a challenge going over rocks and terrain. It's a big hit with my son he loves to drive it. Here's my video doing a overview and we take it out for a spin so you can see how it runs. More info can be found in the video description if you are interested.

Tip #27 - Volantex Ranger G2 Setup - Control Surface Deflection & Flaps

Here is a link to the Video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrMzPdmbSvs

I have the Volantex Ranger G2 setup pretty well now and it has good Aileron and Elevator Control.
I'm also happy with the Flap Setting on the Flaperons.
In this Video I'm going to provide my setting on this Plane so it will give you a good Baseline to start with.
These Setting should provide you with a successful Maiden Flight of this plane.

The measurements on the Control Surfaces were measured at the Control Horns to make sure there was no flexing of the Control Surface when actuating.
