YOU KNOW IT'S JULY IN THE SOUTHERN USA WHEN...

The birds have to use potholders to pull worms out of the ground.

The trees are whistling for the dogs.

The best parking place is determined by shade instead of distance.

Hot water now comes out of both taps.

You can make sun tea instantly.

You learn that a seat belt buckle makes a pretty good branding iron.

The temperature drops below 95 and you feel a little chilly.

You discover that in July it only takes 2 fingers to steer your car.

You discover that you can get sunburned through your car window.

You actually burn your hand opening the car door.

You break into a sweat the instant you step outside at 7:30 a.m.

You realize that asphalt has a liquid state.

The potatoes cook underground, so all you have to do is pull one out and add butter, salt and pepper.

Farmers are feeding their chickens crushed ice to keep them from laying boiled eggs.

The cows are giving evaporated milk.

From a post by Red Scholefield ,

A modeler was transferred to a new city and dropped into the hobby shop to inquire about the club situation in that area. He asked the hobby shop owner about the club and what kind of guys were in it. The shop owner asked him what the club was like where he came from. He replied that the club sucked, and the members were all know it all jerks, would not help anyone and the officers were a click and in total control without any thought of what the members wanted. The shop owner shrugged his shoulders and lamented that was probably what the guy would find in the local club.

A day later another modeler showed up and asked the same question to which the owner replied as before. The modeler said it was the saddest thing he had to do, to leave his old club. A great bunch, helpful and lifelong friends that he would keep in touch with. The club was well run and a pleasure to belong to. The store owner replied, "Well you are in luck, you will find our local club just the same."

Sometimes the success of the party depends greatly on what you bring to it.

-Set up by Throttle Stick:
Switch on the transmitter and check the
throttle stick is at Max position. Connect the main power pack and switch on BEC (for the controllers
with BEC). After a piece of music, you can follow the prompting sound to begin programming. When
hear a prompting sound (sound 3 times), move the throttle stick from high to low position quickly. You
should hear a ‘beep’, your setting is done. Move the stick back to Max position, waiting for the
prompting sound and repeat above steps for other settings. After your setting, keep the stick at lowest
position for 5 seconds, you will hear a piece of music. Now, you can begin flying.
Prompting Sound:
1. Brake On: - - -

The controllers are supplied with factory setting, Brake Off, Soft start up and Auto timing.
Note: when the first time of using the ESC, or when changing number of batteries, or when
changing battery type, the setting of Battery Type must be done every time.

All Motrolfy info/supplies/parts can now be found at http://www.subsonicplanes.com/

Ken Young took over as the US dealer for Motrolfly since Scott launched a new line of motors for REALLY BIG electrics. And I do mean big!

I'd highly suggest a purchase of the programming card. 30 seconds vs. a few minutes of aggravation was worth it for me. The card is $16.00

Heres some pics from our Spring fun fly. We had at least eight clubs from four states show up, with several pilots. This was held Sat. and Sun. June 2-3. Every thing from small electrics to 1/4 scale gassers flew all weekend.
