i812's 180 CFX Torque Limited Tube "Idea":
- Cut stock 3 mm diameter CF Torque Tube about 1/2 way between Torque Tube End and Bearing
- Apply CA to the last 1/4-inch length of a small (1?-inch) length of 1 mm OD CF Rod, and carefully but quickly partially insert the CA'd CF Rod into one of the cut CF Torque Tubes, so that half of the partially inserted CF Rod is still remaining extended from the cut CF Torque Tube.
- Allow CA to set and cure for atleast 15 minutes before procedure to next procedural step.
- Rejoin remaining cut Torque Tube using ~1-inch length 3 mm ID Silicone Tubing
NOTES:
- The correct length of Silicone Tubing should be found by experimental "trial and error": start experimental trial with a short 1/2-inch length Silicone Tube, perform "Torque Limit Test" to verify Silicone Tubing slips before stock Torque Tube End deforms/breaks, then perform extreme maximum Pitch-Pump maneuvers as quickly as possible to verify Torque Limited Tube doesn't slip during extreme 3D flight maneuvers. If Torque Tube slips, repeat experimental trial with 1/4-inch longer Silicone Tube length. If Torque Tube slips, continue repeating experimental trial, each time with 1/4-inch longer Silicone Tube length just until you've verified and determined the shortest length Silicone Tube that prevents the Torque Tube from slipping during extreme 3D flight maneuvers.
- I might not be able to accept full credit for my idea, because I vaguely remember

This post used to be the location of my Blog's Table of Contents, and I always try to keep the Table of Contents as the first post, so I moved it after creating the above Limited-Torque Tube design idea.
