This is going to be BIG.........

It is 39.0 inches long, 13.0 tall and 5.5 wide at F-1. I have it taped together just for the picture. Nothing is final yet.

I am excited to see how this plays out. So far it is looking good.

I have always wanted to make a flat wing with ailerons for a Grasshopper.

The original plane is a 2 ch plane with a polyhedral wing. I never did get mine to fly very well. I hope by making it a 4 ch plane it will fly better.

The original wing is in the 43 inch range. This wing "being the first test cut" is 50 inches. My next step will be adding the wing tip cut paths along with the aileron and servo pockets. I want to round the tips and shorten it to 43 inches.

"It looks ridiculous with this giant wing".

After some small set backs. I have my CNC hot wire/router up and running.

I had a few extra steps to learn and adjust to for the hot wire. Never the less it works. I am happy to finally have it up and cutting. Nothing is completely perfect yet. It is a learning experience.

I am having fun.
