4.8 ounce build using blue-core foam and MonoKote pattern from CTH Scythe. Foam did not melt with iron on highest setting. Covering worked and plane flies well.

Built with the same motor, ESC, servos and battery as used in the "Assassin".

Plane weighs 12.6 ounces. Unlimited vertical climb. A bit 'squirrly' on roll control, rolls almost too much. Fun and fast. Great for limbo and will add lights and FPV.

Sharing an unedited GoPro video of me flying my EasyStar "wing". Recently added a larger motor, and 2.4 Rx, 1,800 mA lipo. After balancing and and tweaking the controls, she flew maybe better than my Radian. Currently building several versions of this type of flying wing. Think I'll call them Franking Flyers since most are constructed from old airplane parts.

April Fools Day Flight (13 min 27 sec)

The plane was made from a single sheet of Adams foam board purchased at Dollar General for one dollar. It is covered with packing tape. Flies well with thin wings that give little drag. All of the electronics are accessible. My plans are to use the plane for combat since it is inexpensive, has great performance and is quick and inexpensive to build. Also I may use it for close range FPV with FatShark goggles, a 100 milliwatt Tx and a pico camera for piloting and a keychain camera for recording in 720 HD.

This flying wing is working out well. It has proven damage resistant along the learning curve, but is flying well as a stable aerial photography platform. Yesterday, Friday the 13th, I flew my new keychain 'spy' camera (808#16) on it at altitude, just before dark. Hope to mount my GoPro FPV equipment soon.

This post may be redundant since I just made an entry, that was "Submit New Thread". Haven't caught on as to how RCGroups works yet. Hope this post is of interest to some of the other members.
