Just arrived today. Haven't had time to work on it yet, but snapped a quick glamor shot of her sitting and looking pretty!
More Later!

I purchased a Turnigy CA80-80 brushless motor & Turnigy Monster-2000 ESC for possible use on an upcoming project. Being a life long Hacker snob, this was quite the leap of faith!
I built a test stand and purchased a Hyperion eMeter V2, these along with a borrowed setup of XPS 25C 5000 batteries wired in series & parallel for a total of 12S 10,000mah, I was ready to test.
I have ran one pack through the motor and the initial results look good. Results with a Xoar 24x12 prop & the pack fresh off the charger:
Volts 50
Amps 113
Watts 5167
RPM 6822
Not too bad! Temps were good on packs and esc, barely warm. The windings on the motor were a little warm at 180°F! This should really come down during flight.
I feel there is room to push the motor towards 6000 watts. I have a Xoar Electric 25x10, 25x12 & 26x10 on the way for further testing.
Thanks
Brian

I was flying a little too low and suffered from a 'dumb thumbs' attack, which resulted in the crash of my 3DHS VR-1! I didn't know if I would repair the airframe, so I let it set for a month. Well after a month I decided to start the repair!
First I need to survey the damage:

Going to SEFF and bring this plane along to sell, if there is any interest.
