The heat wave continues, temps in the 90's wih high humidity made for another tough Saturday. Some of the guys started their flying earlier (while it was cooler) with Paul and his winch. Paul has almost set a standard, by setting the winch up on the west side at 8:30am every Saturday. After the morning winch flying, everyone headed over to the SE side to get some slope flying in.
The best part this Saturday was a 10-15mph SE breeze, which finally gave us some excellent slope flying in the SE bowl. All the pictures in the blog are of the slope flying because, 1) Homey don't get up at 8:30am on Saturday. 2) When the wind is back up, you don't miss it.

This Saturday on the hill found another light wind day. In the morning, most of the flyers were on the winch on the Westside. By the afternoon the major group was on the Eastside with a light wind starting to form out of the East. Obviously not really a slope day, but the thermals (when they came through) were outstanding.
