My $25 Goldberg Electra has a fuselage that needed more work than was apparent when I got it. It didn’t help that I knocked the fuse off my workbench causing the tail feathers to pull off. I believe it ended up being a good thing. They were barely tacked on to a 1/16” thick piece of balsa and had been altered to just lay on top and not go down into slots.

A video by Sonex413 on YouTube influenced me greatly. I am trying to match his setup:

Vintage GOLDBERG ELECTRA Motorglider with Air-to-Air Views (12 min 5 sec)

A 2212 motor and Sullivan Gold-n-Rods were purchased. The motor came with 9g Servos. He ran wires and I’m trying to stick with the Sullivan kit’s yellow control cable. He also built a box for his lipo.

Yep Les Amis,

(39 min 4 sec)

NOTATAZ : 17/20 Quelques défauts à régler Mr FIMI !
Niveau : Débutants et Confirmés
Les + : Rapport qualité prix ! Puissant et Souple, Réactif, Assez précis, Très bonne autonomie, Stable, Excellente qualité d'image, Nombreux modes de vol ...
Les - : Horizontalité de la gimbal, Mode tracking ...

Folding prop from HK ( 5.1x3.1 )
Current draw is right on about 8 amp @ full throttle
The ESC seems to handle full throttle with little issue , and I dont remember what ESC is in there .

You would need to go over my old posts to see the figures for the previous folding prop .

Prop runs quiet and true

Now for this Stage 4 restrictions to go away !

( Speaking off - Retards are still out there without masks or face coverings ) Bring in Bounty Hunting ! I want a slice of that $1600 fine . ( Actually $200 for not wearing a mask / face covering ) = Original post !
ESC is apparently 6A , hopefully I wont cook it

Found the post >

Cox FW 190 Kit

I am mostly retired now, the only job I do is substitute teaching during the school year, and because of the pandemic, the schools closed mid March this year. So I have spent a lot of time at home since then, only going out when I really needed to. In June, I started a Value Hobby Zeta Dolphin 1010mm EDF kit that I finished the second week of July. Didn’t get a chance to try it because of poor conditions until the first week of August. Still haven’t had a good flight with it.

A friend sent me GWS T6 and COX FW 190 kits at the end of the second week of July. He didn’t want them anymore because he had moved on to bigger planes. These kits are not sold anymore except by individuals that never built them. I think it has been more than 10 years since they were new.
So on the 3rd week of July I started building a 1000mm GWS T6 Texan that I basically finished on August 10.

Now I will start on the COX FW190 520mm kit. This kit comes pre-painted, with a brushed motor, but no electronics. It comes with an elevator and rudder, but no ailerons. I plan on building it with brushless electronics, but currently do not intend to add ailerons. I think the original with the brushed motor must have had a battery mounted inside without access from outside except for a plug for charging it and an on/off switch. So I will be adding a battery hatch. Here are photos of the box and contents:

Did you know OpenTx can help reduce some of your workload and help you get a plane tuned WHILE you're actually flying it? Did you know you can trim the plane with a single pull of a switch?

You can: And OpenTx can help.

Watch this OpenTx Tuner Setup Guide to see how you can perform in-flight tuning of control surfaces and trim the plane with a single switch.

Just a quick shout-out to all the Fusion 180 flyers out there to recommend installing protectors onto your LIPO balance leads. The protectors simplify unplugging the balance leads after charging without feeling like the wires are getting ripped loose from the connector.

Securing LIPO Balance Lead Under Fusion 180 Canopy (1 min 53 sec)

There are a wide variety of sites that sell these protectors. Following is a link to a vendor I went with:

Of course, the protectors are bulky and interfere with installing the canopy onto the heli! As a solution, I zip-tied a small loop of elastic string onto the front of the frame so that I can tuck-in the protector before putting on the canopy. The elastic loop really works well, it doesn't look ridiculous on the heli, and it doesn't get in the way of anything else under the canopy.

I haven't yet tried it, but I bet this will also work well with the Blade 150S, the 180CFX, as well as the Trio 180CFX.

Eachine Mini F4U Corsair RTF Warbird with Gyro - Review Part 4 - Conclusion!

Eachine Mini F4U Corsair

Eachine Mini T-28 Trojan

Eachine Mini Mustang P51D

Volantex Sport Cub 500

RadioMaster TX16S Transmitter

Banggood GCRC

Here is a link to the Video:

This is another Great Micro Warbird from Eachine and well worth the money in my opinion.
It is a bit Nose Heavy out of the box but .75g of Tail Weight and it balances perfectly.
I think this Plane is a bit faster than the P51D and not quite as stable due to the Gull Wings.
It has a very Wide Flight Envelope but flying too slow will cause a Wing to Dip.
I like the weight of the 1S 360mah LIPO rather than the 1S 400mah LIPO in this Plane.
I need a bit more Elevator and Rudder Movement so I'll adjust the Linkage and Test it out again.
Part 4 of this Review will be Testing the Adjustments and then I'll state my Conclusion on this Warbird ;-)

I got this one as a pre-order, the PNP version ... They finally switched to more efficient inrunners

Some pictures that have appeared on the internet are reposted below ...

Here's what the original looks like,

Mine will get repainted in a russian camo scheme, that Slovak Tiger digital camo on a MiG-29 looks a bit odd to me (plus I have enough boring gray planes ).
