A member on this board was needing some help setting up RVOSD5 switches on his stock turnigy 9x, so I made this little how-to for him. He suggested that I put it in my blog, as maybe it will help someone else too. So, hopefully someone out there in TV land finds this useful.


So I had a look at my settings in the 9x stock firmware. To get the 3 position switch to work, you have to go to the menu "PROG.MIX" and make 3 mixes.

Sorry to jump in without fully going through all the previous posts. Since you mentioned your system was upgraded, the LED sequence is different on a V1 with V2 upgraded firmware. Just in case you haven't seen it, here's the sequence for the system:
On the upgraded Version 1 systems the new LED sequence is:
Hold down the button on power up:
3 - 8 Seconds: RED Flashing LED Micro Power Mode
8 - 13 Seconds: GREEN Flashing LED Binding Mode
13 - 18 Seconds: Alternating GREEN and RED LED Calibration Mode
18 + Seconds: LED Goes OFF - Change UNIT ID
