Welcome to my Blog.
I started flying RC gliders in 1981 when I was 13. My grandfather was an old WW11 Navy pilot and an aeronautical engineer. He used to take me to Bluff Park in the late 1970's to watch the guys flying their gliders back and forth along the bluff.

After a year and a half of training, I got orders to Barbers Point Hawaii. The only problem was "Desert Shield" started. The next thing I knew I was 22 and flying missions over Baghdad. Thanks to the man upstairs we never got shot down.
Flew RC off and on between chasing women, surfing, golf, fishing, etc...
Got out of the Navy after 20 years and came back here to good old Long Beach, California to work for (of all places) Hobby People.
I found a Hobie Hawk(see pics below,) on EBay that needed a little TLC. Fixed her up and is flying great!
