Amazing how far things have come. I first tried this hobby in the early 80s. With a Futaba 4-channel, a glow powered Dura-plane and no one to teach me, it didn't go well. After a couple of very short lived flights and the resulting crashes, it was too expensive for a 12 year old to keep up with. Fast forward 36 years and I got the bug again. I bought RealFlight 9 back in Sept 2019 and spent the next couple of months practicing, pretty much everyday. The Turbo and UMX Timbers were my first RC airplane purchases and I took my first flight on Nov 15th, 2019. I can't thank HH enough for RF9. It 100% allowed me to teach myself to fly and to those that are just starting I highly recommend it as a tool for success.
