made a new vert, stab... not cuz it needed it, I just wanted a different shape, and to make it different from my buddy's, also to try out making decals from covering materiel. and also to better reflect the "logo lights" -

I STILL have yet to assemble and fly my Easy Star...

Yes there are a couple of rolls in there... the vid is so jerky cuz there is quite a wind blowing... plus the fact this little plane was never meant to carry such a payload!
right at the end you can hear the motors becoming uneven... the brushes went on the R/H motor... I'm still waiting for the replacements... and will try the upright camera position that you can see in the pic below...

my B17 finally came in...
too windy to fly right now,
reinforced Landing gear (see pics) and did 20 or so ROG from my driveway into grass backyard, (no room to fly)
I just love the way it rises, just kinda lumbers into the air like the real thing.
EDIT; OCT 28/07 to add pics of conversion to 3 ch.
Ya, I know it looks a little rough... this was a "proof of concept" trial for me, if I could get it to fly well... Then I will mod the other one (still new in box), and hope my meager skills will make it look better too...
I had a hard time getting this to fly very well.
It would fly but was hard to control, not how I want my planes to fly...
crashed lots, hence the rough look...
Finally figured out to "twist" a little washout into the wing tips.
HUGE improvement, now very fun to fly, looks awesome in the air.
Is possible to fly in a "somewhat scale" manner and looks almost like the real thing!...Continue Reading

learned lesson from Venom Betty... put screw in L/G in case land on grass, without screw, grass rips it off -

reinforce tail wheel and make new wire from .032" music wire, the original is .022" and the wheel flops around on the wire, then it's hard to get it to track straight on rog. -

yes I have the dreaded Firebird Freedom! saw alot of bad reviews on this AFTER i bought it, Guess What? I have never crashed it in 20 odd flights! actually flies great for me, made my first successful landing w/ this plane, it was my 2nd after the SkyFly -

The Sky Fly, my first plane... yuck, notice the spare wings... VERY unstable plane -

i tried every trick i could think of to get this to fly well, got rid of the stupid fishing line "control lines" and put in actual control rods, played w/ C/G etc. only had 1 good "landing" in 30 some flights.
I just got this at TRU, I don't know if it is called the Single Wing but it flys incredible!!! 
just charged it up and had a incredibly long flight.... did not time it but wayyy longer than my Jet.
As you can see in the pic I did have to tape a dime to the nose, but I expected that after much flights w/ my AA Jet.
This one flys so well, on such low throttle, I think I may be able to get it to ROG w/ some (very) light weight landing gear
Edit; it's an AA Sport
