I hate it when you loose a perfectly good airplane due to on board electronics failing. This crash was caused due to a cc bec 10 amp dying on me. It sucks too because it was brand new...

So, It is butt dog cold outside (I live in redneck ville so yes this is an actual term!) and I decided to build some small foamies. I made a foam cutter with a battery charger and a light dimmer switch and set it up to cut 1/8 inch sheets of foam off of 3/4 inch sheets. below is the results. I tried to make the one look like and be the same size as the vapor, and the other one I call bigfoot for obvious reasons!!

This is custom built by me!!! It took about 2 years and way to much $$$. Oh well. It was fun though! It is for sale for the right price.

Well, I have come a long way on gigantor. I finally have the tail section of the fuse close to done, and the next step is to finish the middle section where the front and back halves of the fuse connect. I have about 2 hours per day to work on it, so each picture is the end of progress for a particular day.

Here are some cool shots of my new gigantor plane I am building. What do you think? Obviously I got a lot of wood to cut off of the fuse section, but hey, it is my first big plane, and so far, I am into it 75 bucks!!! So, if it crashes on the first flight, I am out 4 billion hours, and 75 bucks! I can stand to loose, time, but not green! the wings are made of 3/4 inch pink styrafoam, and I have some super thin aluminum that i took to a friends house that has a metal bender and we made a leading and trailing edge for each panel. It will have a 16 foot wing span!

Here are some cool pics of the plane I am building. The tail section of the Fuse is 60 inches long, and the front part from the engine to the back of the wing is 50 inches long, so, the thing will be 110" long.
