I have been trying to figure out how I am going to launch my Cuda Para-noia safely without loosing my bits and pieces... So I did some searching and found the X8 bungee launching catapult. I was able to source out the 2 inch square and the 1 inch square aluminum tubing from a local metal manufacturing business, it was leftovers from previous jobs. I got a good start on the assembly of it but I need some additional hardware... Bearings or small roller blade wheels from the shoe skates. The rail is 8 foot long and split into two 4 foot pieces with a hardwood plug to join them back together held in place by two latches. The legs are 1 inch square stock. Looking at using a old Bow that I picked up for $10 and attach it to the front and run the bungees from it to the cradle. Still lots to do so stay tuned....

Oh ya... "FAD" is short for "Foam Airplane Destroyer"

I saw this beauty on the Flite Test articles forum and decided I needed one. Looking at the plans it looked like a fairly easy one to build but the wing needed to be a bit bigger... How about 90 inches bigger. Planning on splitting the wing in the middle to make it easier to transport as it is rather long. Hoping for a good powered "Floater" for some thermal action this summer...
