Just finished the building of a CR Climmax pro. I put a Hacker B20 12L 4:1 engine in it with a 11x6 prop. Weight is 20 oz with a 1300 2s Lipo pack.
In less than 10 seconds its over 300 feet. Flies like a mini F3B plane and still thermals nicely.
On a single battery pack I can get over 20 launches.
It was a great plane in the nineties and electrifying it breathes new life into this classic design.

Recently finished an old Graupner Cirrus kit. As a young boy I always wanted this plane but could not afford it in the 1970's. Fun built and great flyer in calm conditions.

Just finished my new DLG.
Supergee wings and tails made by Cliff (clifford11). Fuselage from Jeff (DLGjunkyard).
Cliff's wings are beautiful and Jeff's fuselage is super light.

Topdrive ailerons with Graupner DES 427BB servos and Dymond D47 for rudder and elevator. Total weight 285 grams.

I took it out for a test flight this afternoon. She flew beautifully. Launches were on average around 120 feet with a 140 feet best. With some more tweaking I am sure I can improve on it.

The plane needed 20 grams nose weight. Next project will be with a fuse that will have room for all four servos to reduce the amount of nose weight needed.
