Now, that I'm into
the project, I'm having a great time. I've streamlined the process for capturing the links and making the alphabetized document. Now, I'm reading more than piddling with the computer. The editorials and guest papers are fascinating, when read sequentially. I'm getting to know great people, exulting in their triumphs, nodding sagely when prescience tells me they are on the right track, tsking when they are not, and as the years go by... sorrowing anew with their passing.
The development of aviation is a noble history... human through and through... fraught with everything from idiocy to divinity...
I'm pleased to have had my few years strutting upon the stage... and smile with every sight of a V-22 Osprey, an AH-1Z SuperCobra, the Peacekeeper ICBM, or the Manned Maneuvering Unit; knowing that I had my part in bringing that vehicle to life.
My readings in Flight make me mindful of my place in this chapter of human endeavor. I'm grateful for that.
I am a man of faith in the Christian Master and, one day, I hope there is a great Aero Show in the heavens where everything is on display, everyone is available to talk, and the demonstration flights will never cease.
