Don't mistake this BabyHawk for its previously released namesake. This version has power, Foxeer ccd cam, buzzer, osd, a fancy canopy and replaceable arms. This beauty is a bit on the heavy side for a micro keeping the flight times a bit low, making a quality battery all that more important (batteries linked below video).

This time an indoor flyer from the well known FullSpeedRC. The BeeBee 66, as you will see in the video is a quick indoor quad using the sunny sky 703 ballbearing motors. Additional performance can be gained by removing the 3d printed pod and securing the all in one camera with a bit of double sided foam tape. The only feature missing is a buzzer, which to many wouldn't be of use with indoor flight.

Using a combination of their own components this 3inch is a burner. The two items lacking are the HD cam mount might be a bit fragile and the props a bit dated.

If your early in your FPV experience don't be put off by the speed in the video. Anyone can start on 4s or 3s, lower the camera angle and find a nice open field.

If your well experienced, strap on a pack and let it rip.

This is the self-made Boldclash BWHOOP B06 with OSD and DSHOT600. The frame from Boldclash B06 with BR0703 motors and 4A ESC DSHOT600 Omnibus F3 OSD FC. Fly with 260mAh 2:40 minutes, even better than the original Boldclash BWHOOP B06. The LST - S2 800TVL camera fits very well in the B06 canopy. With a little hot glue, the camera sits firmly in the canopy. The F3 flight controller has OSD and voltage is displayed in the video image. The OSD can be configured via Betaflight 3.2.2. The 4A ESC is DSHOT600 capable and thus also Turtle Mode works. The material costs are lower than the original Boldclash BWHOOP B06 and you have an OSD and DSHOT600.

OHello fellow modelers.

Though I have seen a few multi-engine foam models released recently with removable outer panels, I wished that had done it on the Flightline F7F. Despite the nice multi-connector provided to make it easier to assemble the model at the field, it is still a pain to snake the wires (servos and power) into the fuselage each time. I do not yet know of the reliability of mulit-con, but my philosophy is: "if it doesn't need to be done... don't do it!".

So, to that end I decided to cut the wings off at the scale fold-joint on the model and re-install the outer panels with two simple servo connectors for the ailerons and lights.

Lets get started.

First you must take off the nacelles and then remove the tape covering over the wire troughs. With the bare wing on your bench you can proceed with the surgury.

I am sorry i did not actually get any pictures of me sawing off the wing, but the process is simple. You should use a brand new long edge knife for the foam (like the kind where you break off the end piece to reveal an new sharp edge) and then use a new fine tooth exacto saw to cut thru the spar tube.

12th flight of my new bird, still mixing and playing with CG but I'm already loving it. I may write a build log for it since I took lots of pictures during assembly.
Sorry for the background noise but a club member was breaking his new nitro engine in.
Sorry also for the sharp cut at the end but my camera battery died right before landing.

Has anyone tried to connect HobbyEagle A3 to a 6 channel receiver when all channels are in use ie Ail,Elev,Thro,Rud,Gear,Flaps
I understand that the A3 needs a power supply to the mode connection which could be taken from the bind socket on the rx using only the feed and ground connections
As I understand from the A3 manual, if the mode connection is not assigned to a channel on the tx then it will work on the pre-set mode for mode 1 position which could be the normal or even auto balance mode? which is the one I want to use
Anybody tried this set up or similar, I have used the A3 on a 4 channel plane and assigned the two spare channels for mode and gain adjustment on the tx, I do like the straight forward set up of the A3 particularly the program card which is very useful when the laptop is at home!
Any comments appreciated
John

...tips on my preference of simple, effective, cheep engine cleaning. Here goes:

If your engine is very rusty, consider using a rust-remover and rinsing it off before cleaning. The LA's Totally Awesone Cleaner may remove tad bit of rust, but not much.

Set aside time to clean your engine. I prefer a day off work with 4-5 hours of free-time.
Point is, there's no need to be in a hurry! Accidents happen and parts get lost. Be careful with chemicals.

I do not have an ultrasonic cleaner. I use a plastic tub i bought at GoodWill for cheap...
My tub is at least large enough to cover a small disassembled engine (say, a Saito fa-56 size) with one bottle of LA's Totally Awesome Cleaner.

One may prefer a second bottle of cleaner for a medium engine (.91). Or just turn air-exposed parts over during soak. Depends on container size (skinny and tall will cover more).

Really, you can use the tub of cleaner on more than one engine! The cleaner will get darker but it should work.

Items needed:
-New bearings. Why not?
-Gaskets and O-rings (if needed)
-Valve adjustment tools
-screw drivers and hex drivers
-Always have extra bottles of cleaner, $1 at Dollar Tree
- Q-Tips or pipe cleaners for carb and intake drying
-Clean light-colored towel for lying parts upon. Nothing fancy.
-Old clean rag or two for drying parts.
-Paper towels, can be cheap
-Tweezers or something to grab parts out of tub
- 3-in-1 oil (or your preference) to remove bearings & stuck parts....Continue Reading

This is the first 4S Test Flight of my Durafly Me 163 Komet 950mm PNF.

Hobbyking Durafly Me 163 Komet 950mm PNF 4S-Powered Test Flight (4 min 34 sec)

As I thoroughly enjoyed the flight characteristics of the RocHobby Swift and Durafly EFXtra, I decided to get my Durafly Me 163 Komet up to speed as well. I was definitely in for a surprise when I made the switch to 4S, as I now consider this plane to be ridiculously fast for its size. More fine-tuning with the rates / throws will be required on future flights as the controls are a lot more sensitive on 4S speeds.

Using the Hitec Energy Sport 60-Amp ESC / APC 5.5x4.5 Speed 400 Electric Propeller setup and powered by a Roaring Top 4S 1800mAh 70C, I measured 38.1-amps max static with 586 watts on the Eflite Power Meter. The Nerf Vortex Whistle adds a unique sound during flight and was installed by drilling a hole on the circular canopy hatch indent and is secured by GE Type II Silicone. The Pretty Woman Designer Nails Set: Stiletto Shape / Long Length that I found at Walmart are also the perfect shape to protect the vulnerable painted foam wing tip bumps that are commonly scratched during landings, and are glued on with Loctite 5-Minute Epoxy. Lastly, the airframe finish is protected with 2 coats of Minwax Satin Finish Polycrylic.

GnarlyFPV's Blitz Spec motors The Fastest 716s on the Block (3 min 15 sec)

Hello everyone welcome back.

Today's video has me really excited. I have been on a mission to find faster 716 brushed motors. Well my mission is over. Thank you GnarlyFPV. These are the Blitz SPec motors. They are by far the fastest 716s I have flown. First launch sent me straight into the ceiling. That hasn't happened in a long time. I installed these motors into my BetaFPV Beta 65s. I also traded out my triblade props for some of their 4 blade props.

These motors are compatible with
Eachine E011
BoldClash Bwhoop
BetaFPV Beta 65s
JJRC H67
and any other micro quad that runs 716 motors.
