SEFF was very very fun.

I got to see the 3DHS planes ripping it up ... which really makes me want to buy the 51" Slick ... their show was great and really funny .... I will most likely buy a Slick or Extra in the near Future.

I saw the Electrifly Evader that a Futaba guy was flying around , he showed it to me and it was a really sweet plane, 100mph out of the box. I will look into that plane too.

I saw some really cool nightflying stuff. I guess I will have to order some lights now ... Not sure where I can fly a nightflyer ... but it seemed like a blast , especially the flying wings. (Man, my list of planes just got longer)

The combat event was really cool , I will bring a combat plane next time. I got video of the whole event too .... I will post that later.

I only flew my FunJet .... and Super Cub ... both in the parkflyers area.

I got a FPV ride by a nice guy named kevinhines (on RCG) it was such a different perspective than normal flying. I think it was one of the coolest things at the show.

Tomorrow looks good, the Wind will not get over 10mph ..... I hope ... I am really itching to fly.

I also got the UM Micro P-51 and it is really fun ... it gives me something to do on those perfect days when I can't go to the flying field. I plan to get some video of it soon. You can almost hover it with a little help from the wind.

I finally figured out how launch the FunJet ... and have been flying it a LOT lately.

I upgraded it to a Dons RC Wicked 2700 kv Motor ... and it was sweet , the motor was perfect for the plane.

I think it was going over 85mph at least .... it was really fun ... until the motor smoked. Which stinks ... but I will order another if my new motor doesn't work out.

Luckily, I got my package from HobbyCity with my new motor. I also got a Watt Meter and a 40 amp ESC .. and some new batteries. I think I got the 2536 2350kv motor everyone has been using. I also got some stickers for free ... so I put them on my FunJet.

Right now I am pulling 35 amps , at 400 Watts on a 5 by 5 prop. I need to get a 60 Amp ESC to really get this plane going.

I really like my Watt meter and have tested some other planes.

T-28 - 21 Amps 245 Watts with an 8 by 6 prop ... I think I might be able to put a bigger prop on.

AMX - 26 Amps 324 watts ... 64 mm EDF .... I also had to replace a servo on it. I plan to try my other EDF Jets soon.


I also might be getting the Ultra Micro P-51 soon to fly , because the weather has been perfect !
