If you are having issues with your H3-3D you may want try the new firmware released today.

The new H3-3D IMU firmware 1.0.0.12 has been updated just now, no release note yet but I suspect, it has to be about horizon drift... Now when you turn the Phantom on, the gimbal goes to 45 degree position. As I found more info on the firmware, I will post more info as DJI release note on this particular update.

The video in the snow had some jello as it was cold and windy... But the point was to demonstrate that the update is functional!

I ordered all my stuff for the F330, it should be a fun quad! It will base on teebok f330 with a brushless gimbal, but not the Tarot, I will be using one from goodluckbuy!

I got the tilt working with the Phantom, on the Tarot board, plug the the T to F2 on the Naza bottom pin and any ground (-) from the Tarot board to top pin F2 on Naza. I am using my T8J with the VR nob. It would probably work on the Phantom radio through that 7ch in the back of the radio.

Folks, I made a video where I demonstrate how I mount it on my Phantom, easy just drilled through the base in the battery compartment, work good and made for a clean installation. It's tight for clearance for landing gear, I just create more space with some peices of foam on the landing gear. The only thing left is to find the way to plug to the naza and have it working on my Futaba T8J. I also got the power cable that I will use to charge the battery and for my FPV. Out of the box, I'm very impressed! The Phantom is only a 330mm and is very shaky! I flew for a bit on wide 1080 48fps to show a bit of the phantom working! I usually fly on medium or narrow. In summary, totally satisfied!

Solid heli for sure, the build took me 6hres from opening the box to ready to fly taking my time:

Just finished my new t-rex 500 dfc, wow! This is a strong heli fore sure and the ikon fbl unit is as good as my v-bar. I really like the auto-level function, if it save me only one crash, I would be happy.

Finally my inverted hover is under control. The 300x is good practice new stuff! Just to have to practice on the sim. It's amazing how good the sim is to improve!

E-Flite BLADE 300X December 1st 2012 (3 min 27 sec)

I just got a Blade 300x lately to practice heli stuff! I elect to use the 300x as it is easy to get parts anywhere and it's cheap to maintain. I'm not disappointed as finally I dare to bring my inverted hover down to the deck! My plan is to resist and keep it stock! By the way the Spektrum 6200beast is the secret in this heli, rock solid FBL gyro!
