Howdy y'all! I'm currently modifying a 8-year-old balsa trainer called "Superstar EP" by Hobbico into a brushless-powered high power sport aircraft. I've tested it out on the field and it flies absolutely great with a crap ton more maneuverability and power. Without further'doo, below are the current mods of the airplane.

1. 2.25" E-flite Aluminum spinner w/ custom spiral
2. 3.5" ParkZone Sport Cub tundra wheels
3. 10X6-10X8E props
4. Turnigy D3536/8, 1000kV BL motor
5. Custom nose weights (salvaged yellow Ni-Cd pack and green LiPo pack)
6. 2200-4500mAh 3S 25+C LiPo packs compatible
7. 50+mph (original setup only goes 30+mph)
8. Horizontal-lens action camera mounts

Here're some mods I've done on the plane.
1. 9.8x6 4-blade E-flite prop
2. glued-in hinges for rudder
3. 40A ESC
4. 3000mAh 3S Lipo

Plane flies great, much more torque and thrust, but AUW went up to 40oz.

Comments? Leav'em below!

Today I was so content to open the box for my long-waited 4th Mobius Action Cam that I payed $80 on Amazon. Guess what, guys, tis a fake one shipped from Shenzhen, China that only worth $10 USD! The real MAC costs $80 USD and it is a much better HD FPV camera! As a result, I have to request a return with Amazon.com for that piece of !

Tips for getting Mobius Action Cams:
1. If you're in the U.S. or Canada, please buy all MAC related items from companies called "Novotm", "Spy Tec", and "Mobius".
2. If you accidentally purchased your MAC products from other companies, please check the shipping box and the product box. The genuine MAC has no Chinglish and any graphic on its box, it'll simply come with a cardboard box with a tag that says the company name on it.
3. If it happened to be shipped from a place out of the U.S., please return the item immediately after you confirmed that it is fake.
4. Genuine MAC has a darker, smoother, and much finer case compared to the fake one. Its lens is much larger than the lens of the faulty camera.
5. If you have downloaded the genuine MAC Mobius Setup app on your computer, you can notice that the setup wizard actually does not support the fake, and its board name will appear to be another brand (In my case, the board name is "Syntech" or somethin).
6. The fake product always have traits of very cheap and bad action cameras. It will also be very slow on powering and USB connection.
7. The...Continue Reading

Can anybody tell me how to fix a computer problem? I recently upgraded my laptop from Win 8.1 to 10 and started using its exclusive feature, the Movies & TV app to stream all of my HD FPV aerial videos. It ran fine until last night, when I finally pulled off from my work and tried to watch some videos from my video library saved on the desktop, I found a very interesting thing: It stopped working! A small window popped out shortly, stated "Remote procedure call failed". Perfect. I developed some anxiety and started to search for solutions on Google and tried all of them, but non worked. I verified the other Win 10 apps and they work! Just the problem for "Movies & TV", even the other video apps work too! I wavered for several potential causes, and even thought some hacker is currently controlling ma unit! That seems overplayed, but still, I'm very concerned... I researched some info about the RPC, and it has to be in running position all the time, which makes a perfect sense for a grayed out, uncontrollable settings pane to exist.

So how would you solve this "RPC failure" on just one particular application on Windows 10?

This is urgent, please give me at lease a thought so that I can get my app working again in a short time. Thank you very much for stoppin by!

This is why you should choose fixed wing aircraft! over 80% less failure-destruction rate than the multicopter!

Every single time when I check out the RCG blogs, there isn't a single comment on 98% of the posts. I was like, "hey c'mon people, if you like the hobby, why not simply reply those blog posts or per say being nice to other hobbyists by leaving a comment..." . I specifically saw many posts, typing "Leave a comment" and there just isn't any replies. Come on bloggers, be respectful to the other hobbyists by replying or commenting on their posts. Maybe just spend 5 minutes or less, you can change the RC community by leaving your thoughts!

As the RC hobby rapidly gained much respect and acceptance from people worldwide over the recent few years, many technical problems came along as well. In order to solve those problems, JHAC launched a new discussion board, "My Weird RC Problems" on RCGroups.com starting today! Welcome to "My Weird RC Problems" log #1.

MWRCP log #1
It is kind of impossible for us to fly RC aircraft without ailerons nowadays. So here is the question (This could be one of the most common problems on a RC aircraft with two+ aileron servos): why would it sometimes have only the port aileron servo working properly but not the starboard servo after countless normal flights?

Discussion is priceless.

I have a problem with my 3S LiPo packs just now. I have a float fly going on tomorrow, so when I take out my LiPos from my battery box, I observed that 4 of them puffed for no reasons (I have 7). I've been storing them in the box since 3 weeks ago, and the ambiance which the battery box was stored was dry and cool. As I connect the puffed batteries to the charger just for a voltage and balance check, I astonishingly found that the batteries are still at 85% of power (>=12.3V on each one). I'm very puzzled and just trying hard to figure the problem; would anyone tell me what's going on here? I have the same kind of experience before whereas the batteries swells while still usable.
