Seems like this summer has seen some pretty crappy flying weather. Today was no exception. Very little wind. We started out on the West side and had to flip to the East side by days's end. On top of that, we had several showers come through with lightening off in the distance. We ended up going down to the Peachtree restuarant early.

Great thermal day, not very good for sloping. Wind started in the Southwest but slowly rotated around to the South. Everyone was up on the West side and shifted to the to the South side in different groups. Because of the heat and the very light wind, almost everyone quit early and headed down to the Peachtree for lunch.

Since we've gotten back from Oregon flying at the "hill" has been very hot (95+) and the wind has been weak to non-existant. Thankfully this Saturday we finally had some wind. It wasn't a strong breeze, but we did have about 10mph on the East/SouthEast side. The thermal guys were specking out and the sloper guys were finally getting a chance to get some "air" time.
