Some shots of my original Twist (formerly Falcon880's Twist). Great flying plane with high aspect RG14 and scale looks. Just needs a little bit bigger tail surfaces and flaps to be perfect.

Thanks to fellow Ezoner Rodger68 my Twist collection has expanded to two. Thank you Rodger! Here's the baby, having just arrived, bonding with my first Twist. Twists forever!

Was a picture perfect day, not too hot not too cool. Some strong thermals, and the slope had a enough lift for light slopers. Unfortunately, the wind died and changed to the East at about 1pm. The major highlights were Woody's Coyote test flight (formerly mine, formerly Jon Wyle's and I think formerly Bian Agnew's). Julio test flew some more exotic creations and Larry had his BOT meet a pipe (bummer).
Well a change for my picture blog this weekend. Wayne, our favorite photographer was occupied, so yours truly had to take up the cape. Hope you enjoy.

It was a great day of flying. Cold in the morning, both Amos and I each brought a "gallon of Joe" to keep the troops awake and warmed up. We flew the North/Northeast bowl site. There was alot of action and airtraffic (I counted about 12 planes at one time)! Several midairs, intentional (epp slope combat) and a couple non-intentional (ugh!). We had a PSS warbird 3 pack flying, Amos's ME109, Ben's P51 and my Zero. Because the wind stayed strong at about 15mph out of the N/NE it was mainly slopers, only a few thermal planes ventured out. The high light to the end of the day was Charley flying his 3d foamboard plane in the parking lot of the Peachtree Restaurant. Amazingly the plane survived without damage.

I went through some old pictures the other day and came across these. Good memories I'd thought I'd share.

No pictures today. Wayne was under the weather. The flying was still great. We got to fly on the East side, the first time in quite a bit if time. Just enough breeze to slope and killer mile high thermals roaring through.
Best part was that I got to maiden flight a classic Coyote I've had gathering dust for years.
