All the shadow templates have now been cut out and fixed into position prior to planking. Note the diamond shaped bow and flat transom as this design is fairly narrow.

The pastel card templates have been pritted (glued) onto the 5mm paper backed foam board. All the straight cuts are done so now it's time to use the scroll saw to form the curves

The 20 shadow templates have been transposed from the plan dimensions. Now one is able to get a better view of the hull form for the first time. I'm fairly pleased with the shape but a little nervous regarding the amount of displacement as the beam is 15mm narrower than VMG's at 185mm that's 35mm (1.5") narrower than my Lintel

I'm calling it a fit out rather than a build as there is so little to do. The Ail's and elevator are pre hinged and all the required holes have been pre-drilled inc servo fixings and control horns. The stab is housed out and fits into a cut out out in the tail really nicely. The elevator control rod splits into two in the boom and exits on each side of the tail. I have added a bit of strength to the rod near the servo tray as it was bending slightly. I have also added another layer of GRP to the canopy as that too was flexing a bit more than I liked.
